Join Turo as a Law Enforcement Response Specialist supporting our vibrant collection of car hosts and guests who inspire and fuel us every day. We are looking for a team-oriented Law Enforcement Response Specialist to join our Global Trust & Safety Team at Turo. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow with our diverse and talented teams while playing a key role in the success of the business. The ideal Law Enforcement Response Specialist has superb judgment, excellent communication skills, and a keen eye for details.

What you will do

  • Ensure that all law enforcement requests are analyzed and processed in compliance with applicable law, our Terms of Service, and our law enforcement guidelines, upholding operational excellence via high quality, speed, and documentation accuracy.

  • Work with and foster relationships with a valued network of law enforcement, external partners, and investigators.

  • Work on a global and cross-functional team to ensure safety and mitigate legal risk.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams such as Legal and Operations to deal with issues concerning safety, privacy, and data disclosure.

  • Participate in trial appearances as Turo’s Custodian of Record, which may require some travel.

Your profile

  • Familiarity with law enforcement and various forms of legal orders such as search warrants, subpoenas, court orders, and production orders

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to accurately document and clearly articulate operational decisions

  • Commitment to high responsiveness and availability, with strong ability to prioritize

  • Ability to adapt to new technology and systems such as Kustomer, CRM systems, G-Suite, SQL, and MS Office

  • Demonstrates Turo’s values through work product and within day-to-day team interactions

  • You are a team player with a positive mental attitude, high energy, high integrity, strong work ethic, enthusiasm, sense of humor, and a commitment to Turo’s mission and core values

  • BA/BS or work equivalent

  • 2+ years of related work experience in Operations, Trust and Safety, Law Enforcement, or an equivalent environment

For this role, the target base salary range in Phoenix is $58,000–$73,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. We encourage you to talk with your recruiter to learn more about the total compensation and benefits available for this role.

This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
