About the team

We’re a curious, analytical, and detail-obsessed Vendor Management Team dedicated to strengthening Turo’s support ecosystem through accurate data, clean reporting, and insights that drive performance. We work closely with Operations Reporting, WFM, Finance, Product, engineers, and other cross-functional partners to ensure our vendor operations are powered by trustworthy data and clear storytelling.

We believe that operational excellence begins with data integrity. By building strong relationships with internal teams and our partners, we create a transparent environment where metrics are understood, issues are surfaced early, and decisions are grounded in facts—not assumptions.

Your role will go beyond pulling numbers—you’ll validate data, uncover root causes, audit financial and licensing accuracy, and translate trends into insights that improve how Turo and our partners operate.

You’ll play a critical role in supporting Turo’s vendor operations through deep analytical work, structured auditing, and partnership with Vendor Managers. Primary responsibilities include validating performance, strengthening data governance, and collaborating with stakeholders across the business.

What you will do

  • Data Governance & KPI Alignment: Partner with Reporting, WFM, and cross-functional teams to validate dashboards, ensure KPI consistency, and maintain clean, reliable vendor performance data.

  • Audit & Compliance Management: Conduct recurring audits of invoices, billing accuracy, and application license utilization; surface discrepancies and collaborate with Finance and Legal to resolve them.

  • Performance Analysis & Insights: Review KPIs, trends, and anomalies to provide Vendor Managers with clear insights, risks, and recommendations that support continuous improvement.

  • Quality & Process Audits: Evaluate workflow adherence and case quality across BPO teams to ensure compliance with Turo processes, SOPs, and contractual expectations.

  • Support Strategic Planning: Contribute data and insights that inform Joint Business Plans (JBPs), pilot reviews, performance storytelling, and cross-functional initiatives.

  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business objectives.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience with demonstrated analytical capability.

  • 3+ years of experience in data analytics, operations, auditing, vendor support, or financial reconciliation.

  • Strong analytical skills with experience interpreting complex datasets and validating data accuracy across multiple sources.

  • Advanced Excel expertise, including PivotTables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, logical formulas, data-cleaning functions, and the ability to build macros (VBA) to automate repeated tasks.

  • Experience using analytics and BI tools such as Domo, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar platforms. Familiarity with SQL or Python is a plus.

  • Demonstrated ability to translate complex data into clear, compelling insights that guide operational and strategic decision-making.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong auditing mindset for reviewing invoices, service charges, and licensing utilization.

  • Strong communication skills with the ability to present analytical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Highly organized, able to manage multiple audits, reporting cycles, and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Collaborative team player who partners effectively with Reporting, Finance, WFM, Product, and Vendor Managers to align on performance expectations.

Bonus if you have

  • Experience building dashboards, automation workflows, or data visualizations in tools like Domo, Tableau, Looker, Power BI, or similar analytics platforms.

  • Background in BPO performance environments, operations analytics, or vendor-supporting functions.
