About the team
We are looking for a strong FP&A Senior Analyst to join our team at Turo. This position will work closely with finance management and key business partners to drive thoughtful Cost of Revenue and Variable Cost forecasting, analysis and planning across the business.
You will be instrumental in ensuring we surpass our strategic objectives by owning complex forecasting models across different departments and working closely with Insurance, Operations, and Support leaders and other executives across Turo to plan and forecast our Cost of Revenue and Variable Cost-related initiatives.
What You’ll Do
Establish and maintain Cost of Revenue and Variable Cost forecasting processes across the global business including long-term planning, annual planning and rolling forecasts
Prepare month and quarter-end reporting and presentations for leadership, providing analysis to support short and long-term decisions
Partner with multiple business departments notably Insurance, Operations, and Support teams to develop thoughtful forecasts and gain deep insights into variance drivers/shifts enabling the business to proactively respond
Develop and lead initiatives to standardize, streamline, automate, and scale forecasting
and reporting tools and processes for our global businessPlay a critical role in the optimization of our financial reporting tools and help design advanced reporting and forecasting models
Identify and quantify financial/operational risks and opportunities for the business
Drive ad-hoc business projects as necessary
Your Profile
BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, or other technical field required
3-5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, investment banking, or consulting with analytical responsibilities. Ideally, you’ve worked at a fast-growing technology company and/or in the travel industry
Experience building complex financial models
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint experience skills
Experience conducting complex quantitative and qualitative financial analysis and ability to generate data-driven insights to various internal stakeholders
Ability to work autonomously, meet tight deadlines, and self-learn
Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting analysis to business partners and company leadership
Experience with financial systems such as Adaptive Insights, Anaplan or NetSuite
Interested in honing your modeling skills and pick up new skills as required (i.e. SQL, Statistics)
For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $100,000 - $125,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. This role will be in-office on a hybrid schedule — Turists will be expected to work in the office 3 days per week on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.
