About the team

Turo is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Sr. Netsuite Specialist to join our Enterprise Applications team, to serve as the systems subject matter expert and business partner for the finance and accounting organizations at Turo. Under the guidance of the Manager, Enterprise Applications, with support from other business stakeholders, you will be responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations and strategic Expansion and optimization of Turo’s current Netsuite ERP System. You will need to juggle a diverse workload that includes application development lifecycle management, user lifecycle management, business workflow automation, project integration, troubleshooting, and continual optimization. This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about combining technology and financial operations.


What you will do

Job Duties:

  • Develop and maintain customizations for applications that support Finance and Accounting operations, including integrations.

  • Provide ongoing system/technical support to NetSuite users and business partners including training.

  • Keep up-to-date with NetSuite functionality, new technology & coding standards. Identifying and recommending other key technologies to support and improve the business processes across the entire finance organization.

  • Responsible for the change management and release process of NetSuite enhancements and development.

  • Partner with business teams to build out requirements for new processes that incorporate IT security best practices.

  • Own the full application development lifecycle, from requirements gathering to testing, deployment, and ongoing support.

  • Maintain documentation for integrations and other customizations.

  • Ensure proper change management and compliance with security, regulatory, and audit requirements.

  • Support and maintain existing systems, including troubleshooting issues reported by users.

  • Maintaining systems controls aligning with SOX IT general controls

  • Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Turo offices may be required.

Your profile

Minimum Requirements: Master’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science, Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and two (2) years of experience in the job offered or in any occupation in related field.

Special Skill Requirements:

  • (1) NetSuite;

  • (2) ERP;

  • (3) Concur;

  • (4) Adaptive;

  • (5) Github;

  • (6) Stripe;

  • (7) Python;

  • (8) SQL;

  • (9) ETL; and

  • (10) User acceptance testing.

  • Any suitable combination of education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option. Some travel to Turo offices may be required.

For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is $156,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and benefits. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
