About the team:
We are seeking an experienced Identity and Access Management (IAM) Administrator to join our growing IT & Security organization. Under the guidance of the Sr. Systems Engineer, Team Lead - you will manage and maintain our IAM infrastructure, leveraging best in class tools as our access governance platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IAM technologies and practices, and will be responsible for ensuring the security, efficiency, and compliance of our identity and access control systems.
What you'll do:
The IAM Administrator will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the identity and access management systems that protect the organization's sensitive information and resources.
Design, implement, and maintain IAM solutions, including identity lifecycle management, access provisioning, role-based access control (RBAC), and single sign-on (SSO) technologies
Develop and enforce IAM policies, procedures, and standards to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Administer user accounts, groups, and roles across multiple systems and platforms, ensuring appropriate access levels and permissions are assigned based on job roles and responsibilities
Monitor and audit user access activities, identifying and investigating unauthorized access attempts or suspicious behavior
Provide support and troubleshooting assistance to end users regarding access-related issues, resolving incidents and implementing solutions in a timely manner
Perform regular reviews and audits of user access rights and entitlements, identifying and remedying any discrepancies or violations
Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT security, compliance, and business units, to assess access requirements and implement effective access control measures
Participate in IAM-related projects, including system upgrades, migrations, and integrations, ensuring successful implementation and minimal disruption to business operations
Document IAM configurations, procedures, and policies, and provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders as needed
Continuously improve knowledge of products, services, and processes by participating in training programs and continuous learning modules
Your profile:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or equivalent work experience
4+ years of experience working in IAM administration role or related role
Strong understanding of IAM concepts and principles, including authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms
Experience with IAM tools and technologies, such as Active Directory, G-Suite/Workspace, Okta, Ping Identity, SailPoint, or similar platforms
Experience with Sailpoint or other Identity Governance platforms
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex access-related issues
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. With the ability to present complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders
Familiarity with directory services, LDAP, SAML, OAuth, and other authentication protocols and standards
Familiarity with SOX ITGC, SOC, or ISO security frameworks
Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM)
For this role, the target base salary range in San Francisco is 116,000-$131,000 annually. This role is also eligible for equity and the benefits described below. In general, our ranges reflect the market-based target for new hire salaries based on the level and location of the role. Within the range, individual pay is determined by objective factors assessed during the application and interview process, such as job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
