Who We Are Looking For:
We are looking for a hands-on Sr Manager, Data & Business Analytics who is passionate about delivering powerful data to the organization.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Lead the Data Strategy for the organization by implementing and leading the internal and external resources responsible for managing the Thrive Data Stack. The Data Strategy will be comprised of areas around Analysis, Governance, Collection and Integration, Optimization, Visualization and Security
  • Data Analysis and Visualization: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business objectives and key performance indicators (KPIs). Proactively analyze data and trends to provide insights and recommendations that drive business strategies. Create and maintain dashboards and reports using data visualization tools (e.g. Looker, Tableau) to help individuals make data-driven decisions.
  • Data Governance: Own data definitions for the entire organization. iImplement and maintain data governance policies and practices to ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with relevant regulations (e.g., GDPR).
  • Data Collection and Integration: Oversee the tools and platforms used to collect and integrate data from various sources, including Shopify, third-party apps, and internal systems, to create a unified data ecosystem.
  • Data Optimization: Continuously monitor and improve data quality, accuracy, and efficiency of data processes, including data cleaning and transformation. This includes identifying a central source of truth and normalizing data.
  • Data Security: Ensure data security and confidentiality by implementing appropriate access controls, encryption, and backup procedures.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, customer support, and IT, to identify data needs and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and support to team members to enhance their data literacy and promote a data-driven culture within the organization.
  • Stay Informed: Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in data management and DTC business strategies.

What Will Make You Stand Out:

  • Bachelor's degree in Data Management, Business Analytics, Computer Science, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience of 7+ years in data management, in an e-commerce or DTC environment.
  • Proficiency in Shopify, including experience with Shopify data management and reporting.
  • Experience with Looker and Daasity is a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of data governance principles, data integration, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and data visualization software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of relevant data privacy regulations and compliance (e.g., GDPR).

The base pay range for this role is $150,000 - $170,000, with the following factors determining the base pay at offer: skills, qualifications, experience. This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Additionally, this role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
