Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a creative, passionate, and energetic Manager, Talent! This role will report to the Vice President, People and lead the efforts in acquiring the best talent externally, developing our talent internally, and establishing Thrive Causmetics’s Employer Value Proposition as one of the best companies to work for. The ideal candidate will have full cycle recruitment experience across all corporate functions (Marketing, Technology, Supply Chain, Operations, Finance, People, etc.) and have passion for delivering a consistent and stellar candidate experience. This role will also be developing our Employee Value Proposition, with the desire to create an EVP that is compelling and unique. This position will work across all levels and functions of the organization, developing relationships internally and externally to further our mission! This is a hybrid role, based in our LA office (Playa Vista).

What will you be doing:

  • Own all aspects of full cycle recruitment including: strategic intake meetings, creation of job descriptions, proactive sourcing/networking/outreach, candidate screens, interview scheduling, compensation negotiations, background and reference checks, post engagement follow up, etc.
  • Partner with candidates, hiring managers, and internal teams to provide world class recruitment experience with Thrive Causemetics
  • Maintain weekly and ad-hoc recruiting reports
  • Utilize LinkedIn Recruiter, Lever ATS, and other networking tools to proactively source candidates, with a focus on building and improving upon the processes and tools
  • Continue to identify areas of improvement and integration for Lever and Bamboo HR systems
  • Strategically maintain company presence on Indeed and Glassdoor
  • Create and own the search strategy to attract top talent through competitive research, networking and direct sourcingImplement new ideas to attract talent in the Los Angeles area, with a focus on employee/talent branding
  • Effectively communicate our mission and vision to prospective candidates in a way that builds trust, maintains our strong employer brand, and inspires candidates to join Thrive Causemetics
  • Research competitive employment landscape and market insights/trends to remain relevant with the Los Angeles (and similar) marketplace and demographics
  • Remain up-to-date on current/relevant beauty industry trends, news, competitive landscape and market insights
  • Utilize reporting and data to impact the talent acquisition strategy starting with our current ATS (Lever)
  • Maintain compliance with with a lens on all federal, state, and regulatory standards

What will make you stand out:

  • 5+ years full cycle, high volume recruiting, with the ability to spot top talent
  • Previous experience in a start-up environment with rapid growth is a huge plus
  • LA based, DTC experience preferred
  • Experience in a multi faceted role partnering with all levels of the organization across all functions
  • Ability to maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
  • Resourceful with exceptional problem solving skills
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skillsProven experience engaging passive candidates through targeted sourcing
  • Passionate around Diversity Equity and Inclusion initiatives
  • Excellent organizational skills including accuracy and attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner cross-functionally, and parallel path multiple projects
Thrive Causemetics is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
The base pay range for this role is $115,000- $156,000 annually with the following factors determining the base pay at offer: skills, qualifications, experience. This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Additionally, this role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
