Who We Are Looking For:
A social media-obsessed manager who will play a pivotal role in enhancing Thrive Causemetics' brand presence across all social media platforms. You will be responsible for creating compelling and visually stunning content that engages our audience. The ideal candidate has their finger on the pulse of social media trends; is a proactive and creative thinker with a keen eye for aesthetics; possess a deep understanding of social media platforms, and a passion for beauty & doing good in their community. You will collaborate with creative, brand marketing, influencer marketing, customer service and performance marketing teams to support best-in class daily content development. This role will own the daily ideation, sourcing, and creation of social media content. This person will be an integral part of the team and will bring innovative thinking to all marketing campaigns and will play a pivotal role in the overall growth and awareness of the Thrive Causemetics brand. There will be at least 1 direct report under this role.

What you will be doing:

  • Responsible for end to end production with strong knowledge of current and emerging video editing for social platforms–Pitching and producing social content that will elevate and expand the brand on social media
  • Insatiable curiosity, appreciation, respect and knowledge of the beauty and lifestyle social community
  • Track emerging trends in social media and digital storytelling and utilize them effectively
  • Work closely with the greater marketing team on daily content, management strategy, and research/analysis
  • Passionately versed in social marketing channels + strategies; ability to develop and execute creative content strategies for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and other relevant platforms.
  • Ability to capture high-quality photos and videos, and edit content in a hands on manner
  • Develop and maintain a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content; ability to discern and plan content needs by channel
  • Comfortable flexing between high-level planning and detailed execution
  • Must be a leader that knows how to manage a team efficiently and effectively
  • Extremely detail-oriented, with a strong creative side
  • Experience across all social media platforms including emerging channels and international platforms including but not limited to: TikTok, Threads etc.
  • Track and analyze the performance of social media content using relevant metrics (i.e. Dash Hudson)

What will make you stand out:

  • At least least 5-7 years social, brand-building, content and digital experience (within beauty is a plus) either in house or at an agency
  • BA/BS required or equivalent experience
  • Deep passion for all things social and the ability to scout and leverage emerging trends
  • Deep understanding of makeup and skincare categories trends within social media
  • Proven ability to create and execute a holistic social media content plan and manage the day-to-day flow of content across all touch points and platforms with direct reports
  • Ability to run efficient, thoughtful community management communications with the customer in partnership with customer service team
  • Prior experience managing the development of the content calendar across all social platforms to support “always on” evergreen content, campaigns needs, giving programs and partnership needs
  • Prior experience partnering with the influencer team to develop a stream of UGC for organic content
  • Previous experience partnering with a creative team, product marketing and content team to ideate on relevant content that ladders up to the overarching social brand marketing strategy
  • Ability to support content creation in partnership with creative + design team; ability to individually shoot and edit content as well
  • Experience overseeing social and community management tactics for key product launches, events, activations and help create proactive ad hoc comms as needed
  • Regularly analysis of the competition and other best-in-class brands to inspire new ideas and executions – especially in new platform innovations
  • Proficient with graphic design and video editing apps and software
  • Thrives in a fast-paced, highly entrepreneurial environment
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed to capture and post social-first content at company, brand and giving partner events

The base pay range for this role is $80,000- $120,000 annually with the following factors determining the base pay at offer: skills, qualifications, experience. This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Additionally, this role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
