Who We Are Looking For
Thrive Causemetics is looking for an experienced Senior Director of Performance Marketing to oversee our Growth strategy and current team managing cross-channel performance marketing efforts. This role will work with our current growth team, CRM team, and cross-functional leads across Marketing, Ecommerce, and Data teams to achieve company goals. Key metrics for this role include sales forecast, new customer acquisition, retention, and expansion across products, channels, and international markets. This person is highly strategic, analytical and thrives in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate has deep knowledge in paid marketing and growth strategy and is an experienced people manager. This individual has knowledge of Thrive Causemetics products and a passion for the beauty industry! What will you be doing:

  • Oversee overall growth strategy on all channels, including paid social, paid search, TV, display, affiliate, podcasts, and direct mail. Lay out a roadmap for channel diversification
  • Run point on budget and revenue forecasts to create goals across channels on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Partner with channel leads to create clear data-driven strategies across channels to drive improvements in main KPIs, including revenue, MER, and new customer growthLead promotion process in collaboration with marketing and ecommerce to achieve monthly goals while implementing a data-driven promo process
  • Own customer touchpoints across email, SMS, and direct mail. Collaborate with marketing on messaging for brand while keeping performance and retention in mind.
  • Build a strategic roadmap for demographic and channel expansion, diversity initiatives, international expansion, and other critical business initiatives.
  • Work cross-functionally with Marketing, Ecommerce, Data, and Finance teamsWork with data team on optimal cross-channel and cross-initiative budget allocation and attribution measurement to maximize bottom-line revenue with a full-funnel approach.
  • Work closely with content and design teams to support the creative process, ensuring consistent brainstorming and testing of new creative concepts across social channels
  • Manage a multidisciplinary team of growth and CRM professionals, fostering a collaborative, high-performance work environment that embraces our giving mission.

What will make you stand out:

  • Hands-on experience executing, launching, and optimizing campaigns on Paid Social, Paid Search, Display and/or Offline marketing campaigns with extensive knowledge of best practices across channels
  • 10+ years of work experience managing large-scale paid social (FB/IG, TikTok, Pinterest, Snapchat), paid search (Google/Bing), and other large-scale growth channels
  • 5+ years of experience managing Growth and CRM teams
  • Experience forecasting, managing, and tracking pacing and ROAS towards 7-figure budgets across acquisition and retention campaigns
  • Experience managing a growth team at a hyper-growth startup, preferably at a direct to consumer company
  • Proven track record of driving consistent revenue growth for direct to consumer brands, with a deep understanding of growth KPIs
  • Knowledge of customer acquisition strategies from a targeting and creative perspective and retention strategies in partnership with email and CRM
  • Deep understanding of media-mix modeling and optimization as well as goal-setting across channels utilizing incrementality tests and various attribution models
  • Ability to lead a team and motivate others in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Exceptional analytical skills to drive data-driven decisions and problem-solving
  • Knowledge of direct response creative best practices across channels with a focus on paid social, bonus points if for e-commerce and beauty
  • Experience scaling campaigns in international markets
  • Experience working closely with design teams on creative development and feedback process

The base pay range for this role is $180,000-$244,000, with the following factors determining the base pay at offer: skills, qualifications, experience. This range provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. Additionally, this role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on company and individual performance.
