How You Will Make An Impact

We are looking for a teammate who will join us and help to enhance our infrastructure. Our day to day activities are focused on DevOps development, with a secondary role in SRE and operational support. You'll contribute to our GitOps approach, leveraging your expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, Cloudflare, Terraform, and ArgoCD. We embrace Infrastructure as a Code, GitOps operational framework and automation to ensure our deployments are efficient, reliable and scalable.

In This Role You’ll Get To:

• Strategically Enhance and Optimize AWS Infrastructure: Take charge of our AWS infrastructure, focusing on EKS (Kubernetes), and drive strategic improvements for long-term scalability and reliability.

• Advance CI/CD Processes: Elevate our CI/CD processes, ensuring state-of-the-art automation and efficiency, and integrate best practices for continuous integration and deployment.

• Enhance Monitoring and Alerting Systems: Develop and maintain advanced monitoring and alerting systems, with a strong preference for experience in tools like Datadog, and introduce proactive measures for system health.

• Cross-Team Collaboration and Mentorship: Actively collaborate with other teams to support their development processes and infrastructure needs, and provide mentorship to junior engineers.

• Promote a Culture of Innovation: Contribute to a culture of continuous learning and improvement, aligning with our core values, and encourage innovative thinking and problem-solving approaches.

• Participate in on-call rotation where you diagnose, mitigate or escalate production issues

What We’re Looking For:

• Expertise in Cloud Technologies: Demonstrated experience as a DevOps Engineer, with in-depth knowledge of AWS, Kubernetes, and related cloud technologies.

• Proficiency in Infrastructure Automation Tools: Familiarity with Cloudflare, Terraform, ArgoCD, and advanced CI/CD automation tools.

• Advanced Monitoring Skills: Strong understanding of sophisticated monitoring and alerting systems

• Basic scripting skills (bash, python, ruby or any other language, including golang)

• Exceptional Communication and Leadership Skills: Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead projects and mentor team members.

• Ability to lead outage calls and manage incident response effectively

• Big plus if you have knowledge of Kubernetes (EKS) and Istio

• Big plus if you have experience with Datadog and Teleport
