About the Role

Are you ready to make your mark in the world of sustainable fashion? We're looking for an individual who is proactive, detail-oriented, curious and excited about owning the content coordination, production and publication of the thredUP website and mobile app. As the Digital Marketing Coordinator, you will report into the Merchandise Marketing Manager and play a critical role on the Revenue team. You will work closely with the creative, marketing, product and engineering teams to get all content, campaigns, promotions, and general updates executed and pushed live to thredUP customers. From coordinating the production of new content, publishing the content and setting up promotional A/B tests, you will ensure that every pixel on the site and app experience reflects our mission and allows our customers to have a smooth and fun thrifting experience.

In this role you’ll be:

  • Creating and updating content on the site and landing pages using our content management system (CMS)

  • Co-owning the strategy and coordination of all website and app content

  • Managing the website’s editorial and promotional calendar

  • Ensuring that all content on the website is accurate, up-to-date and meets the organization's standards and guidelines

  • Aiding continuous improvements to the functionality of our content management system (CMS)

  • Creating promotions end-to-end: making promotions in our internal promo tool, publishing them to the site, and aiding in testing the promotion experience

  • Collaborating with engineers and other stakeholders to strategize and setup up all promotional and content tests in Split.io and push them live to the site

  • Managing multiple campaigns while coordinating with marketing, design, engineering and product to ensure that all content is published on time and to the correct audience

  • Aiding in analyzing website, landing page and app performance, and proposing optimizations

  • Pulling insights on customer buying behavior and inventory sell-through to identify what is trending and help inform our merch strategy

  • Building shoppable curations to surface the best thriftable product to our customers

What we’re looking for:

  • Bachelor’s degree in web development, marketing, product marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience

  • 1+ years of experience working in a marketing or web content focused role

  • Previous experience with website content production and setting up and executing A/B tests, using programs like Split.io preferred

  • Strong knowledge of fashion and ability to analyze the market to determine trends

  • Outstanding interpersonal skills

  • Strong attention to detail, project management and organizational skills

  • A self-starter; someone who is excited to learn by doing
