Job Description
How You Will Make An Impact
As the People Operations Coordinator you will be the main support for the day to day operations and administrative functions of thredUP’s People Team. Reporting to the VP of People Operations & Total Rewards, you will play an integral role in keeping the People Operations activities on schedule and executed flawlessly. You will have the opportunity to gain exposure to all areas of the HR/People Operations function, which will provide you with a broad skill set in all things People and act as a great launch pad for growing a career in HR.
In This Role You’ll Get To:
Serve as the first point of contact for team members and managers, providing guidance and support on People policies and procedures, including managing People Zendesk ticket routing
Ensure all team member facing resources are kept up to date including the annual launch of the guidebook, the wiki, job posting templates and Workday message templates
Support the implementation of People policies, programs, and recurring initiatives like engagement surveys, compliance rollouts, Open Enrollment
Support all compliance and audit requests related to regulatory requirements and internal audits
Document and maintain process and training materials
Respond to requests for data, reports and perform data entry into HRIS
Serve as point of contact for new contract approvals, POs, and invoices
Assist with benefits and leave of absence administrative tasks
Monitor and adjudicate background checks for candidates
Communicate with Talent Acquisition Vendors about text automation, campaign spend, and postings
Perform other duties and projects as needed in support of the People Team
What We’re Looking For:
2 years of relevant experience in a support function, Human Resources experience desired
Excellent communication skills
Problem Solver - solution oriented with an eye toward finding ways to work smarter
Attention to detail, accuracy and proven organizational skills
Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, excellent follow through
Knowledge of G Suite
Experience with Workday preferred
This is an hourly position and pays between $22-$24 per hour.
