As our Chief Sales Officer, you will possess deep experience in our customer segments, a mastery of data-driven sales methodologies, and an acute understanding of integrated commercial strategies. This role places a strong emphasis on external engagement with customers, the field, and strategic channel partners. As a critical member of our executive team, the Chief Sales Officer will leverage their executive presence to inspire, innovate, and play a crucial role in Taulia’s continued success.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the executive team to assess the current business, develop a deep understanding of Taulia's product, customers, addressable market, their use of technologies, and how they are currently sold and supported
  • Take hands-on responsibility for driving revenue growth and customer value by developing strategies including, but not limited to, market entries, territories, industries, partnerships, and pricing
  • Grow both revenue and presence, building out the sales pipeline among the customer segments Taulia works with across the globe
  • Establish monthly, quarterly, annual revenue targets and deliver against them
  • Instill a culture of high performance and accountability across the sales organization, ensuring clear metrics, consistent tracking, and decisive action to achieve sales targets and strategic objectives
  • Set clear priorities, communicate them transparently and translate them into actionable, pragmatic deliverables
  • Lead the scaling of the go-to-market team across sales and account management, driving consistent KPI implementation across the commercial function
  • Foster robust collaboration with customer success to ensure overall customer value and cultivate a commercial culture aligned with executive team values
  • Develop and execute strategies for engaging and leveraging strategic channel partners to expand market reach and accelerate revenue growth
  • Develop cohesive and productive relationships with all members of the executive team
  • Establish strong collaboration between all commercial activities and the rest of the organization including Engineering, Product, Legal, and Finance
  • Drive innovation back into the product roadmap through the delivery of key customer insight through the organization, further driving customer success metrics
  • Take all opportunities to inform and educate the market about Taulia
  • As a member of the executive team, play a crucial role in the development and leadership of the business through its scaling journey, contributing to strategy and sharing best practices

Skills, Knowledge, and Experience Required

  • A strong background in building scalable revenue, being truly “hands on” across the sales process
  • Strong track record of building and driving commercial growth across a similar customer set to Taulia would be highly advantageous
  • Strong track record of overachieving
  • A sense of urgency
  • Excellent sales process skills and disciplines, with the ability to take a planned, data-oriented and analytical approach, including a transparent and accurate forecasting process
  • Proven expertise as a strong sales operator, including leadership in hiring, enablement, processes, account planning, and leveraging analytics (e.g., pipeline management, win/loss analysis) to optimize performance
  • Demonstrated commitment to operational excellence and delivering high-quality results across all sales processes, customer engagements, and team development initiatives
  • Strong commitment to building relationships and fostering collaboration, demonstrated by a track record of defining and executing strong, innovative, go-to-market strategies with internal and external partners
  • Low ego personality and someone who values winning as a team more than self-recognition
  • An advocate for creating a diverse and inclusive work environment
  • Demonstrated ability to sell at the executive level and effectively represent Taulia at major industry events and high-level customer engagements

Personal Characteristics

  • Strong executive leadership that inspires and motivates teams toward higher performance, fostering a culture of continuous learning and collaboration
