About the Job
The Contracts Manager & Legal Operations Specialist supports the Legal Team (9 members around the world) with a focus on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a variety of basic commercial agreements, as well as managing and owning the Legal Team’s CLM and other related legal operations projects.
This position requires the ability to work with many internal stakeholders and requires sound judgment and analytical skills. Multitasking in a tech-first, fast-paced environment is key to success. The ideal candidate must be a detail-oriented self-starter and demonstrate the ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as needed to meet the Legal Team and internal stakeholders’ expectations.
Location: Remote - East Coast
Salary Range: $80,000 - $90,000 USD
Contracts
-
Review and negotiate NDAs and Vendor Agreements in accordance with established playbook and policies.

Review and draft order forms, amendments, and letters to support deals and customers’ success.

Respond to routine inquiries, maintain, and update legal playbooks, resources, and templates.
Legal Operations
-
Manage, own, and improve the Legal Team’s CLM to organize contracts, drive user adoption, and create new procedures and workflows.

Lead other legal operations initiatives such as internal training, legal newsletter, and legal hours.

Assist in implementing and administering the Brightflag legal spend management application.

Assist with UCC filings.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience required
-
3 + years of experience reviewing NDAs, Vendor Agreements, and other legal contracts.

Proven ability to work as part of a team and independently, in a fast-paced environment.

A can-do and problem-solving attitude.

Excellent planning, organizational, and time-management skills.

Excellent written and oral skills.

Proficiency with Slack, Google Workspace, Mac, Word, Excel, DocuSign, Box, is required.

Experience with ContractSafe, Monday.com, Atlassian suite, Brightflag, or similar tools is preferred.
References required.
