About the Team
The Customer Education Team reduces barriers to learning Outreach by building and delivering world-class educational products to all our customers based upon common roles and workflows. We focus on scale first, developing modular material - from On-Demand to Instructor-led offerings - to get our customers up-to-speed quickly and improve the way they work.
About the role
As a Training Consultant, your role is to ensure that users are ready to hit the ground running as their organization launches Outreach or brings new teams on board. Partnering with Outreach’s Professional Services, Customer Success, and other teams, you’ll work across a variety of customer personas and market segments to identify training needs and deliver engaging and interactive training sessions to frontline Outreach users.
Location: We’re open to hiring remote within the US.

Your Daily Adventures Will Include

  • Partner with Outreach Customer Success, Professional Services, and Partners to understand specific requirements for training engagements
  • Facilitate Virtual Instructor-Led Training (VILT) sessions with Outreach customers--these may be done in a public group webinar context, or individualized to a specific customer and team
  • Lead training sessions across a variety of roles within an organization from newly hired SDRs to veteran management staff
  • Deliver on-site Instructor-Led training sessions with travel 25% or more as needed by the business
  • Actively and continuously learn about product functionality, workflows, and Best Practices
  • Proactively provide feedback and suggestions for updates to Training methodology
  • Act as SME and partner with the instructional design team to ensure all customer facing content delivers a consistent Cx and showcases Outreach’s value and best practices

Our Vision of You

  • You have 2+ years of experience delivering customer training/facilitation, ideally experience working in Customer Success, Education/Enablement, Sales, and/or Professional Services. Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are a must
  • You thrive in a fast pace training environment and embrace frequent change of context
  • You take a consultative approach to training and ensure agreed-upon learning outcomes are met
  • Fluency with the operational components of successful training engagements including but not limited to training needs analysis, creation of training plans, use of facilitator guides, active learning approaches, various questioning and learner participation techniques, and post training measurement
  • Ability to maintain enthusiasm and energy over multiple engagements throughout the day. You are comfortable owning project engagements and timelines and seek to identify and escalate risk to appropriate partners.
  • You have demonstrated ability to break down complex processes into easy-to-understand concepts
  • Familiarity with common sales tools (SFDC, DiscoverOrg, RingCentral) as well as with experience with Sales Engagement and Sales Engagement Platforms is ideal
  • You are comfortable with virtual training platforms (Zoom, GoToWebinar) and ideally bring experience using project processes and tools (Smartsheet, FinancialForce)
  • You are fluent in facilitation and adult learning best practices, and are enthusiastic about bringing those practices to life in the virtual classroom
  • Fluency with sales roles, nomenclature, challenges and technology
  • Flexibility - demonstrated ability to pivot to meet the needs of learners and ensure learning outcomes are met
  • You actively hone your skills by participating in industry groups, reading relevant publications, and maintaining connections with professional trainers and training organizations (i.e. ATD)
  • You lead with humility and regularly embrace feedback from your learners, peers and leadership

60000 - 90000 USD a year

The base salary range for this role is $60,000-$90,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as your skills, qualifications, and experience. Final offers are determined through a holistic assessment and will vary within the posted range. Your Recruiter will share specific details based on your location and role during the hiring process.
