The Role
Outreach is building a world-class finance team and is hiring for a Director of GTM Finance. The Director of GTM Finance will be responsible for leading our forecasting and planning for ARR, revenue and expense for our GTM teams as well as managing our Deal Desk and Sales Commissions teams. This person will focus on leveraging data to drive insight from our GTM activities across Sales, Customer Success, Services, Support and Marketing as well as building and improving processes to drive sales velocity, build and improve processes to minimize customer friction and reduce inefficiencies. This role will report into the SVP, FP&A and Analytics and have plenty of C-level visibility. This person will be a key member of the finance leadership team to help develop and drive GTM strategy in partnership with senior GTM leadership, as well as drive streamlined reporting and ad hoc analysis to provide greater insight to his/her/their business partners.
Location: This position can be hybrid out of our Seattle or Atlanta office, or remote within the US. #LI-Remote.
Your Daily Adventures Will Include
- Drive GTM Strategy in partnership with Sales Leadership, Operations, Analytics, and Finance
- Develop a highly accurate ARR forecasting model, forecasting drivers spanning from marketing through sales pipeline by geo, customer segment, product and type
- Forecast and manage the revenue and expense for the GTM functions, the former in partnership with revenue accounting
- Challenge the status quo and drive insights to improve GTM operationally and financially
- Ensure data accuracy and measure KPIs such as contribution, LTV/CAC, and efficiency in total, by geo, customer segment, product and type segment
- Deliver quarterly analysis and reporting of the business' financial results including variances to plan, ensuring key issues, risks, and business drivers are understood and highlighted
- Lead and run full sales commissions cycle including analysis, reporting, and administration
- Partner with the Sales leadership & Director of Sales Compensation on compensation plan design, quota and capacity plan setting
- Own Commissions process monthly/quarterly and plan optimization
- Ensure Deal Desk processes are optimized
- Develop and grow a high-performing team that supports these existing organizations
Our Vision Of You
- 7-12+ years of progressive finance experience working in high-growth environments, preferably in a SaaS company
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or related field required; MBA Preferred
- Sales/GTM finance experience required
- Extensive experience in building digestible and auditable subscription revenue models in a fast-paced public SaaS company; expertise with Anaplan a plus
- Proven track record of developing people, leading and managing high-performing teams
- Outstanding executive presentation skills which enable highlighting key drivers in consumable formats, both excel and PPT
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and proven experience in cultivating collaborative working relationships with teams across an organization
- Entrepreneurial mindset and go-getter attitude with a proven ability to work independently as well as in a team setting
- Forward-thinking, analytical and problem-solving mindset; positive can-do attitude
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills with attention to detail, a sense of personal accountability, and urgency for achieving results
- Collaborative individual that excels at developing strong working relationships at all levels
The base salary range for this role is $130,000-$200,000. You may also be offered incentive compensation, bonus, restricted stock units, and benefits. Actual compensation is based on factors such as the your skills, qualifications, and experience. We also have a location-based compensation structure; there may be a different range for candidates in other locations.
