As an Inside Sales Representative supporting our Global Named Accounts Program (GNAP), you will be responsible for account research, value hypothesis development, individualized prospecting, and pro-actively initiating contact with sales leads from our designated Global Named Accounts. Account research includes in-depth analysis of target company focuses, annual summaries, financial releases, competitive environments, M&A, compelling business events, key personnel relationship mapping, etc. Value hypothesis development includes taking account research to the next level by creating clear, customized value propositions. The GNAP ISR will develop strategic prospecting plans to penetrate these target accounts with a partnership-focused approach. Additional responsibilities include data management, CRM accuracy and campaign execution in support of GNAP sales activity in the commercial sector.

What will you own?

  • Responding and qualifying incoming leads from our Global Named Accounts in a timely manner via telephone and/or email who have shown engagement through advertisement, direct mail, email and tradeshow interests
  • Pro-actively and intentionally call and email into contacts from targeted accounts who you have personally researched & identified
  • Completing deep, detailed research into target accounts creating clear playbooks to plan and enable future pro-active engagements with target GNAP customer contacts
  • Take a solution-selling approach to active opportunities ensuring that each aspect of the Markforged platform is properly positioned to address customer/prospect needs and business objectives
  • Build a network; research prospective contacts through the use of web/social media, internal databases and external tools to identify leads
  • Utilizing company resources to build rapport and credibility to establish trust to further prospects along in the sales cycle
  • Managing and maintaining accurate prospect and customer account activity and information in the Salesforce
  • Provide ongoing Lead Development and nurturing strategies for prospects that are not ready to begin a high level partnership engagement with Markforged
  • Work closely with the GNAP sales team to ensure a great experience for prospective customers on their buyer’s journey. Provide mentorship and share best practices with partners globally
  • Working collaboratively with GNAP, marketing teams, and all internal operations to support building top of funnel pipeline.

What you have:

  • At least 6 – 18 months of professional experience and/or training in a sales environment preferred
  • Ability to understand and analyze customer requirements
  • Excellent networking skills, both internal and external
  • Experience working in a channel-based sales motion preferred
  • Familiarity with SalesForce CRM / Outreach.io is preferred, but can be taught
  • The ability to function in a team atmosphere, appreciate aggressive goals, and have excellent organizational/time management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work in rapidly evolving environment
  • Ability to present in front of C-level prospects
  • High energy, enthusiasm and ambition to grow in your career
  • A positive, can-do attitude is a key quality to succeed on the Markforged sales team
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred
  • Interest in 3D printing a plus!
