Markforged is looking for a Product Manager to join our team in Waltham, MA. We are the inventors of Continuous Fiber Reinforcement and Metal FFF 3D Printing - building strong composite and metal parts using the Markforged Digital Forge – the world’s most reliable, intelligent, and easy-to-use additive manufacturing platform.

In manufacturing fields from consumer electronics, to automotive, and aerospace, Markforged composite and metal parts are enabling transformations in manufacturing processes and in end use applications.

  • Help guide go-to-market strategy and pricing decisions through product launch and beyond

Although we list out what we generally look for, we are very likely missing other attributes and skills that you have that could make you a great fit, but are not currently listed. Research has shown this especially applies to women and other marginalized groups, who tend to apply if they check 100% of every box, versus men who apply if they hit roughly 60%. The point we’re getting at, it doesn’t hurt to take a chance and apply!

What we look for:

  • 5+ years working with hardware, embedded systems, and/or connected products.
  • 2+ years as a Product Manager (or equivalent experience) with multiple products shipped
  • Ability to serve as the internal Voice of the Customer, driving business outcomes and customer success through your products.
  • Analytical and data-driven approach to decision making

  • A demonstrated passion for solving customer problems
  • Comfort in a fast-paced environment with a bias towards action
  • BS or higher in engineering, science, or an equivalent technical competency.
  • Experience with industrial manufacturing, materials engineering, and/or connected products is a plus.
