As a key member of the Accounting & Finance team, the Accounting Manager directly oversees the monthly close of the general ledger, preparation of consolidated financial statements and supporting documentation performed by the accounting team. The Accounting Manager responsibilities and requirements are listed below:

In this role you will:

• Key contributor to the month-end close, including preparation and review of journal entries and account reconciliations
• Ensures GL accounts are properly supported and reconciled monthly
• Prepare daily, weekly, monthly KPI tracking, reporting and analytics
• Support the preparation of financial statement disclosures and ensures accurate reporting
• Liaise with external auditors in support of audits and quarterly reviews of the financial statements and disclosures
• Maintain the company's system of accounts and records for the accurate accounting and reporting of all company transactions and assets
• Support compliance with all federal, state, and local corporate taxes and regulations
• Direct daily activities of team members or project scope of external partners, monitor deadlines and provide support and coaching where necessary
• Prepare reporting package which includes income statements, balance sheet, and cash flows
• Be a subject matter expert as it relates to specialized accounting topics
