THE ROLE
Asset Manager
Reporting to the Senior Director of Asset Management, the Asset Manager will be responsible for a number of properties in our growing portfolio. The Asset Manager will play a critical role in our company, serving as the single point of contact for both Ownership and General Managers.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Financial Budgeting & Forecasting
- Develop challenging, yet achievable Annual Plans and Forecasts by working alongside Revenue Management, Marketing and Hotel & F&B Operations
- Strategically analyze and develop recommendations to improve or enhance asset performance
- Monthly Financial Performance Analysis
- Work alongside the Life House Finance team to review monthly financials and prepare & deliver written commentary on financial performance to Ownership
- Engage Directly with Ownership
- Build and manage Owner relationships through timely reporting and thoughtful progress updates
- Address Owner escalations in a timely, sustainable and scalable manner
- Ongoing Management of General Managers and Property Performance
- Provide ongoing performance management and support to General Managers
- Monitor property performance through live dashboards and initiate & implement Corrective Action Plans when appropriate
- Onboard New Hotels into the Life House Portfolio
- Interface directly with the Life House Growth team to transition new properties into our portfolio
WHO YOU ARE
- 3-4 years of relevant business experience is preferred, including: investment banking, real estate (acquisitions and/or asset management), and/or hotel operations
- Strong communication skills (both written and oral) and organizational skills
- Strong computer skills (including proficiency in Microsoft Excel); familiarity with Asana is a plus
- Self motivated, detail-oriented, well-organized and results driven professional
- Desire to serve in a client-facing role, combined with ability to manage people and expectations in a fast-paced environment
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an interest in strategic problem solving and driving change
- Ability to handle multiple priorities through strong time management
- Bachelor’s degree (particularly in a business related field) is required
- This is a remote position and some travel may be required (15-20%)
COMPENSATION
- Competitive pay at $100,000-$110,000 (commensurate with experience)
