Description
We’re looking for a hardworking maintenance technician to join our team! You’ll make sure our facilities are operating efficiently, regularly inspect our building for any damage, and conduct routine maintenance on our equipment to keep it running smoothly. The ideal person for this job is a reliable team player and a problem solver who has some prior maintenance experience. Responsibilities
  • Work on the interior and the exterior of the property to ensure proper maintenance
  • Complete guestroom work orders in a prompt and efficient manner
  • Perform repairs on heating, cooling, and plumbing
  • Respond quickly and professionally to guest needs
  • Perform painting tasks, including patching drywall, caulking, and cosmetic touch-ups
  • Deliver and/or remove furnishings from rooms as needed
  • Routinely participate in preventative maintenance programs
  • Complete daily assigned responsibilities and provide guests with excellent customer service
  • Ensure all equipment and systems such as HVAC units, plumbing fixtures, and electrical wiring are in working order by conducting routine maintenance and handle any repairs, if needed
  • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs
  • Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks
  • Take additional maintenance requests as assigned
  • Keep a record of completed repairs and when equipment was last serviced
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or a minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak fluent English
  • Previous hotel/building experience a plus
  • Must be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures
  • Flexible availability for on-call maintenance requests on nights and weekends
  • High school diploma/GED or equivalent
  • Stellar communication skills, attention to detail, and work ethic
  • Applicants should have knowledge of air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems
Compensation
$20 hourly
