About the Role

The Finance Planning & Analyst Manager is the missing puzzle piece to our team and will ensure that we make sound financial decisions. As the Sr. FP&A Manager this person is a do-er and problem-solver who is excited for the challenge of owning our financial forecast, modeling business scenarios, and tracking business metrics.

This role is located in our San Francisco HQ office and is expected to be in four days a week.

What You Will Do

  • Support our daily, monthly and quarterly activities, including financial reporting, performance measurements, KPI dashboards, board and investor materials, etc.

  • Play a key role in forecasting and long-range planning by ensuring accuracy, reasonableness, and feasibility across our business and financials through in-depth modeling and analysis

  • Define and implement scalable finance forecast, planning and business processes

  • Build strong relationships, influence decisions, and drive alignment on financial targets across the company

  • Design, implement and track KPIs around strategic goals, identify emerging trends, and provide insights about the drivers of business performance and our return on investment

  • Collaborate with Sales, Product, and Operations to provide pricing, costing, and other analysis

  • Work closely with Accounting for Budget versus Actuals analysis and departmental reporting

  • Own Sales commission planning, calculation, and reporting

  • Participation in financial audits and compliance activities

  • Drive strategic initiatives and projects

What We are Looking For

  • Must Haves:

    • 5-8 year(s) of relevant SaaS industry experience in a high-growth pre-IPO company

    • Expert modeling skills, including buildout of full-company operating and financial models in Excel and GSheets

    • Advanced knowledge of Salesforce and Netsuite

    • Prior experience with a commission tool

    • Bachelor or Master degree in Finance or Accounting

  • Preferred candidates with active or inactive CPA/CFA

  • Strong analytics capabilities

  • Ability to independently drive projects from start to finish with minimal guidance

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills

  • The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who enjoys a fast-paced environment
