In addition to eligibility determination, plan selection, and enrollment technology for state agencies, the company delivers innovative agent marketing and call center tools and services.

GetInsured is looking for an Issuer Operations Lead to be a part of our Project Management and Implementation team. Issuer Operations Leads are the liaison between health insurance companies, our clients, and the GetInsured Support team. They understand issuers’ systems and business processes and how the GetInsured system interacts with their EDI and Operational processes. They support both clients and issuers in ensuring that enrollments are successfully processed by health insurance companies and data is reconciled between both systems on a regular basis.


  • Support health insurance companies across multiple states by serving as a liaison between Issuers, states, and the GetInsured Support Team
  • Provide manager-level support for escalated cases related to enrollment issues
  • Provide subject matter expertise on 834 and Reconciliation questions from multiple stakeholders
  • Attend recurring meetings with issuers and clients to provide support for operational and technical topics
  • Develop and maintain issuer-facing system and operational process documents
  • Support development projects for issuer-facing functionality
  • Support Contact Center process development and coordination with health insurance companies


Skills/Experience Required:

  • 5+ years experience with EDI transactions or Operations as an account manager, business analyst, functional lead, product manager, or similar role
  • Experience in the health insurance or health exchange industry a strong plus
  • Experience in Contact Center Operations a strong plus
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional work, track progress, and facilitate meetings
  • Ability to quickly learn and explain product functionality to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills
  • Client Management Skills
