About EarnIn

As one of the first pioneers of earned wage access, our passion at EarnIn is building products that deliver real-time financial flexibility for those with the unique needs of living paycheck to paycheck. Our community members access their earnings as they earn them, with options to spend, save, and grow their money without mandatory fees, interest rates, or credit checks.

We’re fortunate to have an incredibly experienced leadership team, combined with world-class funding partners like A16Z, Matrix Partners, DST, Ribbit Capital, and a very healthy core business with a tremendous runway. We’re growing fast and are excited to continue bringing world-class talent onboard to help shape the next chapter of our growth journey.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Senior Product Manager on the Core Experience (XP) team, you will own and evolve the foundational experiences that define how millions of EarnIn community members interact with the app every day. This role sits at the intersection of deep user empathy, systems-level product thinking, and a strong bias toward action. You’ll shape the shared surfaces and journeys that span the entire app experience — from how users navigate the app, to how they discover new value, to how the experience remains cohesive and intuitive as EarnIn grows. Core XP is responsible for the holistic app experience, ensuring that key parts of the app bring product experiences together in a unified way. Your mission is to ensure these experiences are intuitive, cohesive, high-performing, and scalable, enabling individual product teams to move faster while delivering a seamless experience to our community.

This is a highly visible role that requires strong product judgment, exceptional organization, and a deep appreciation for great UX. You will partner closely with design, engineering, data, and leaders across BUs. You’ll help bring clarity to complex problem spaces, identify the highest-leverage opportunities, and drive execution with focused experimentation to improve engagement and retention. This role is ideal for a product manager who is outcome-oriented, has strong customer intuition, and is comfortable with experimentation, who takes pride in turning ambiguity into simple, elegant experiences. The base salary range for this full-time position is $206,000 to $252,000, plus equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. This is a hybrid position in Mountain View (Headquarters) and will require in-office work 2 days a week.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Set direction for shared experiences and journeys that span products, including home, explore, navigation, activity, and cross-product flows.

  • Ensure these experiences remain intuitive and cohesive as new products and capabilities are introduced.

  • Identify opportunities to improve clarity, discovery, and engagement through thoughtful experimentation and iteration.

  • Partner with design, research, and data to test hypotheses, learn quickly, and refine experiences based on real user behavior.

  • Define clear goals tied to retention, engagement, cross-product adoption, and overall app sentiment.

  • Use a combination of qualitative insights and quantitative signals to prioritize work and evaluate success.

  • Work horizontally across BUs to uncover experience gaps and align teams around shared solutions. This is a highly cross-functional role that requires buy-in and strong relationships with multiple stakeholders

  • Bring structure, judgment, and calm to complex, cross-team decisions — balancing near-term wins with long-term experience quality.

  • Improve how users find, understand, and move between EarnIn products through clearer navigation, smarter content hierarchy, and better contextual cues.

  • Experiment with layouts, messaging, and in-app moments to help users discover value naturally, without friction or overload.

  • Articulate product direction, tradeoffs, and learnings in a way that builds trust and alignment across teams and leadership.

  • Translate complex ideas into simple, user-centered narratives.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 4+ years of product management experience, ideally on consumer-facing or experience-heavy products.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field or relevant experience
  • Strong user experience instincts, with a track record of improving end-to-end journeys rather than shipping isolated features.
  • Highly organized and outcome-oriented, with the ability to manage complexity, dependencies, and competing inputs. Strong cross-functional experience working with multiple stakeholders.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity and a genuine enjoyment of experimentation, learning, and iteration.
  • Analytical but not rigid — you know when to rely on data, when to trust user insight, and when to apply judgment.
  • Excellent communicator who can create clarity and alignment across design, engineering, data, and leadership.
