About the role:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to lead our People Experience Team (PxT) efforts in our Thailand office. As a local department of one, you will play a crucial role in aligning our local People initiatives with EarnIn’s global culture and vision, and best practices for the APAC region. You will be responsible for setting up and managing local People programs, supporting recruitment efforts, and enhancing the overall employee experience.

What You'll Do:

  1. Leadership Development:
    • Coach and guide both new and experienced managers
    • Identify training and development opportunities to address areas of growth in partnership with current offerings
    • Own key talent planning initiatives for the Thailand site in accordance with PxT processes
    • Facilitate group training sessions
  2. Local Program Development:
    • Design and implement local programs such as internships and expanded new hire orientation to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
    • Develop and manage local employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
    • Establish local OKRs, hold local APAC business reviews and connect to the Global People Experience business reviews.
  3. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
    • Coordinate and participate in local recruiting events to attract top talent.
    • Assist with interview scheduling and candidate sourcing during peak hiring periods.
    • Collaborate with global people experience teams to ensure a consistent and efficient recruitment process.
  4. Employee Support and Mentorship:
    • Provide and share best practices on the APAC region as well as mentorship and guidance to People Partners in other locations.
    • Act as a trusted advisor to employees, addressing People-related queries and concerns.
  5. Data-Driven Decision Making:
    • Utilize data analysis to identify trends and insights, informing PxT strategies and initiatives.
    • Monitor and report on key people metrics to drive continuous improvement in employee experience and engagement.
  6. Compliance and Policy Management:
    • Ensure compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
    • Develop and maintain local policies and procedures that align with global standards and local requirements.
  7. Compensation and Benefits:
    • Aid in the design, implementation and administration of compensation and benefits programs
    • Respond to local employee questions and/or identify resources to assist
    • Serve as local point of contact for People Operations team, staying up to date on central policies and procedures and proactively providing Total Rewards and Operational requirements to the central team.

What We're Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in HR management, preferably in a multinational environment.
  • Strong understanding of local labor laws and regulations in Thailand.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build trusting relationships with local leaders.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with data analysis and People related metrics.
  • Passion for creating a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
  • This role involves collaborating with a global team across different time zones, primarily through asynchronous communication.
  • Bi-weekly synchronous meetings will ensure alignment and address pressing issues.
  • Some flexibility in working hours is needed to accommodate international colleagues.
