The Data Science team is at the heart of Perceptyx Insights Platform, converting employee feedback into focused insights that uncover opportunities and guide organizational actions in the flow of work to deliver a great employee experience and better business outcomes. As we continue to expand our AI and ML capabilities, we are seeking an experienced hands-on Director of Data Science with expertise in natural language processing, data science, deep learning, Gen-AI, MLOps and AI governance to lead our AI and ML initiatives, drive innovation, and deliver cutting-edge solutions. You will lead a team of data scientists and MLOps engineers while working closely with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Product Management, Design, and Operations, to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• AI & ML Strategy: Develop and execute the company's AI and ML strategy, aligning it with business objectives and industry trends. Drive innovation and identify opportunities for leveraging AI and ML technologies to solve complex business problems.
• Team Leadership: Build and scale a high-performing engineering team - attracting, hiring, and retaining top talent while fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and innovation. Provide technical guidance and ensure the team's growth and success.
• Natural Language Processing: Apply your expertise in natural language processing (NLP) to develop and improve theme, emotion, sentiment and intent analysis, comment summarization, and other related applications. Stay up to date with the latest advancements in NLP and leverage them to enhance our products.
• Advanced Predictive Solutions: Design and develop advanced predictive models and solutions using state-of-the-art AI and ML techniques, including deep learning. Harness the power of data to deliver actionable insights and drive decision-making.
• Gen-AI Applications: Drive the development of state-of-the-art GenAI applications that showcase our company's capabilities and provide value to our clients. Build and maintain robust RAG (Retrieve, Analyze, Generate) infrastructure and prompt validation framework. Ensure the reliability and accuracy of AI-generated responses.
• AI Governance Framework: Contribute to the creation of an AI governance framework to ensure compliance with ethical and regulatory standards. Implement processes for responsible AI development and deployment.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product Management, Software Engineering, and Operations, to define AI and ML requirements, prioritize projects, and ensure successful integration and delivery of user-centric solutions.
• Operational Excellence: Establish and maintain robust development processes, tools, and frameworks to ensure operational efficiency and scalability. Monitor and manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Research and Innovation: Stay abreast of the latest research in AI and ML, attending conferences and participating in industry forums. Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities for their application in our products and services.
