Cohesity is seeking a highly experienced Senior Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to lead day-to-day activities at our CM sites and play a key role in ensuring detailed manufacturing operations.
Your expertise and knowledge will be crucial in identifying any test gaps and process improvements, while also collaborating with various teams to ensure an outstanding production environment. As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will have the chance to create a significant impact and contribute to our ambitious goals, all while working with a shown team of professionals.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
- Lead day-to-day activities at our CM sites, ensuring smooth operations and efficient testing processes.
- Handle Test Infrastructure to ensure efficient performance and reliability.
- Triage issues at our CM sites, quickly diagnosing and resolving any manufacturing line problems.
- Facilitate effective collaboration and problem-solving by communicating issues from CM to relevant parties.
- Transfer knowledge learned during NPI (New Product Introduction) and Qualification to the appropriate teams, ensuring a detailed transition from development to manufacturing.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING
- 5+ years of experience in Manufacturing Test Engineering (or equivalent)
- Experience in automated manufacturing testing, ideally in the storage space.
- Proficiency in Linux System Administration, enabling you to optimally lead test infrastructure.
- Expertise in Networking, ensuring detailed connectivity and communication during testing processes.
- Experience with x86 hardware, allowing you to successfully troubleshoot and optimize hardware components.
- Familiarity with storage components, such as HDDs, SSDs, and HBAs, enabling you to effectively test and validate storage systems.
- Basic Bash and Python knowledge, facilitating automation and efficiency in testing processes.
- Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support decision making

- Ability to travel to manufacturing sites and/or repair sites when needed, approximately 30% of the time.
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Pay Range :
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
