The Cohesity Sales Finance team acts as a strategic partner to the Worldwide Field Organization (WWFO), delivering financial insights that drive operational efficiency and informed decision-making. As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will collaborate closely with Channel & Alliances leadership, WWFO stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to support financial planning, forecasting, and reporting. You’ll play a key role in analyzing business performance, identifying trends, and contributing to strategic initiatives through data-driven insights. This role reports to the Director of Sales Finance.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Partner with the Americas sales team and the channel & alliances leaders to support financial planning cycles including annual planning, quarterly forecasting, and monthly close processes.
Analyze bookings, headcount and other opex and partner program spend to identify performance drivers and areas for improvement.
Build and maintain financial models to support scenario planning and business decision-making.
Collaborate with Corporate Finance, Revenue Operations, Talent Acquisition, and HR to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
Develop and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and partner with Analytics to build dashboards for visibility across the organization.
Prepare and deliver financial reports and presentations for leadership, highlighting insights and recommendations.
Support ad hoc strategic projects and contribute to business model transitions and operational initiatives.
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA is a plus.
5–8 years of experience in financial planning & analysis, preferably in tech or SaaS environments.
Prior experience supporting Sales or Go-to-Market (GTM) functions is strongly preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights.
Candidate should have a desire to learn and have a roll up your sleeves attitude.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
Proficiency in financial modeling and understanding of accounting principles.
Experience with ERP and planning tools such as Salesforce, Adaptive Insights, or NetSuite.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Pay Range :
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.
