HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE

  • Lead and develop a high-performing offshore licensing and compliance professionals

  • Establish quarterly and annual licensing and revenue targets, and drive accountability across regional leadership

  • Drive engagement strategies that protect IP while supporting customer satisfaction and renewal health

  • Coach and mentor team members across all levels of the licensing services function

  • Lead complex customer compliance engagements, from notification through commercial resolution

  • Provide executive support in high-impact customer negotiations and escalations

  • Interpret and apply advanced licensing and subscription models for NetBackup, Data Protect, and broader Cohesity offerings

  • Collaborate with Legal, Product, and Sales teams on contract interpretation, entitlement enforcement, and commercial resolution

  • Monitor and analyze third-party audit findings, and define negotiation strategies accordingly

  • Champion operational improvements and process maturity across tools, reporting, and entitlement logic

  • Efficiently takes on and oversees tasks and functions that go beyond the standard scope.

  • Applies innovative thinking and varied approaches to meet requirements, effectively identifying and resolving complex problems spanning functional areas.

  • Conducts advanced analysis in review execution, defining the what and how of the analysis process, and offering alternative approaches beyond standard requirements.

  • Participates in execution against business strategy initiatives.

  • Provides functional leadership through advanced knowledge and experience performing a wide range of project guidance.

  • Interacts with cross-functional directors and VP's.

WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING

  • B.A. or B.S. in Finance, Law, Computer Science, or a related field required; MBA or CPA preferred

  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in licensing, software asset management (SAM), or sales operations

    • Including 3+ years of leadership experience

    • Prior experience managing third-party audit firms and/or internal audit programs strongly preferred

  • Proven ability to manage global teams and deliver results in complex matrix environments

  • Strong financial and commercial acumen, including revenue forecasting and negotiation strategy

  • Exceptional executive communication and cross-functional stakeholder engagement skills

  • High integrity, strong judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive negotiations

  • Occasional global travel required

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
