The Proposal Specialist role is responsible for managing, coordinating, and developing high-quality responses to Vendor Questionnaires, Risk and Security Assessments, Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other business development inquiries. The ideal candidate has proposal experience in the technology/cybersecurity industries using a proposal management tool such as Responsive, thrives under tight deadlines, with a commitment to excellence in every submission.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Manage project document import and exports in the Responsive proposal platform

  • Analyze RFP/RFI/questionnaire requirements

  • Assign and manage inputs from internal stakeholder teams, including legal, customer trust, and technical SMEs

  • Draft, edit, format, and proofread proposal content to ensure clarity, accuracy, and consistency

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to continuously improve proposal processes and win strategies

  • Working closely with the account team, manage timelines to ensure the timely submission of all proposal documents

  • Maximize the value of existing content libraries and tools with AI, adhering to internal best practices, to streamline proposal development

  • Track proposal status, archive completed projects, and support lessons learned after submission

  • Support content library management and other related tasks as assigned

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING:

  • Associate’s degree in Business, Communications, English, IT, or related field (Bachelor’s preferred)

  • Minimum of two (2) years of proposal experience in the technology or cybersecurity industry

  • Excellent writing, editing, and formatting skills with strong attention to detail

  • Strong organizational and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
