We are seeking a strategic, customer-focused, and operationally strong Director of Workplace to lead our Americas workplace operations across North and South America. This leader will play a pivotal role in shaping an exceptional employee experience, optimizing workplace environments, and driving operational excellence across the region.
Reporting to the VP of Real Estate, Workplace & Security, the Director will also contribute to the development and global standardization of workplace strategies, processes, and tools in close collaboration with regional leaders across EMEA and APAC.
HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:
Americas Regional Leadership:
Lead all aspects of workplace operations across the Americas, including office services, facilities management, space planning & seat assignments, design & construction, and workplace experience
Serve as a trusted partner to business leaders, aligning workplace strategy with regional needs and organizational goals
Oversee regional vendor management, service delivery, and performance metrics
Own regional budget and partner with Finance to lead detailed fiscal planning for the Americas region, ensure accurate budget tracking and forecasting, and drive timely and accurate accruals reporting
Drive workplace related communications in the region in close partnership with our Internal Communications Team
Build, mentor, and empower a high-performing, service-minded workplace team, including FTEs and on-site service providers, aligned with our core values.
Partner with Safety, Security and Sustainability teams to ensure compliance, health & safety, and environmental goals are achieved
Ensure timely execution of service contracts (MSAs), PO approvals, and invoice processing
Respond to operational needs promptly, including those that may arise outside of typical business hours
Maintain and regularly update internal Workplace pages, ensuring employees have access to accurate and current information on all office locations, services, amenities, accommodations, and points of contact
Global Strategy & Standardization:
Collaborate with workplace leaders across EMEA and APAC to develop and implement global workplace policies, service standards, and tools
Champion a consistent, scalable workplace experience program across all regions
Lead cross-regional efforts to drive process improvements, technology adoption, and operational efficiency
Support global change management initiatives and clear, timely communications around workplace programs
Support post-acquisition integration efforts related to workplace services, including aligning vendors and service levels, and unifying policies, systems, and reporting
Collaborate with Procurement to streamline and optimize the purchase order (PO) request and approval workflows and tool; experience with Coupa is highly desirable
Partner with Accounting to improve and standardize the invoice payment and reconciliation process across all locations
WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:
10+ years of experience in workplace operations, facilities, and workplace experience; minimum 5 years in a people leadership role
Demonstrated success leading multi-site, multi-time-zone workplace teams
Deep knowledge of workplace trends, employee experience, health & safety, and sustainability best practices
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a professional, strategic approach to stakeholder engagement
Track record of implementing global standards, streamlining operations, and influencing cross-functional outcomes
Strong project management and analytical abilities
Bachelor’s degree in Facilities Management, Real Estate, Architecture or related fields
Deep understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements for the region
Expertise in systems such as Coupa, ServiceNow ticketing systems or similar is highly desirable
Passion for workplace innovation, people-centric design, and elevating employee experiences
Ability to remain calm, proactive, and adaptable in fast-changing or high-pressure environments
A role model for professional conduct, positive energy, and team collaboration
Ability to be on-site 3+ days/week and flexible in supporting after-hours escalations when needed
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
Pay Range :
The compensation noted above is based on an annualized hourly rate assuming normal full-time employment.

Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
