We’re looking for a Tax Manager to join our expanding Tax Team here at Cohesity! Your role will be based at either our Dublin or Cork Office on a hybrid work schedule collaborating closely across our tax team and other Finance functions and reporting directly to our International Tax Director.
This is a perfect role for someone who has strong analytical skills and can build great partnership across the company.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Preparation and review of the company’s corporate income tax returns and related filings in several EMEA Countries, working alongside third-party advisors.
  • Collaborate with the EMEA statutory accounts team to manage the overall process for statutory accounting, tax provisioning, and support of local GAAP Tax balances.
  • Manage tax audits for EMEA Countries developing audit strategies and audit responses with the preparation of defense strategies if needed with the Tax Director.
  • US GAAP Tax Provisioning support whilst monitoring current local Tax legislation changes and their implications for Cohesity’s ongoing compliance.
  • Tax Accounting, including journal entries and analysis of tax balance sheet accounts to ensure the integrity of financial reporting in accordance with US GAAP and local statutory requirements.
  • Estimated Tax payments and timely cash forecasting.
  • Support the wider tax team with some TP compliance, including assisting in some local TP filings and disclosures.
  • Foster strong cross-functional relationships with Finance, Procurement, HR, Legal, and FP&A teams, to ensure alignment on key regional tax matters.
  • Assist and consult on ad-hoc projects including the preparation of internal memos to support tax positions taken and process docs, prepared up to SOX standard.
  • Support the EMEA Tax Director in effectively maintaining strong relationships with external advisers, balancing expertise with budget management and ad hoc projects as they arise.

WE'D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • ACA/ACCA/CA/CTA qualification with a minimum 5 years of post-qualified experience working in a global organisation. EMEA-specific experience preferred.
  • Practice trained with industry (in-house) experience preferred.
  • Experience coordinating and leveraging Tax professional service advisers in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Demonstrated strengths in time management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and a growth-oriented mindset.
  • Proactive, hands-on attitude with a willingness to dive in and get things done.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex technical information to diverse, non-technical audiences in a concise manner.
  • Highly solution-focused, with a proven ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in fast-paced, cross-functional, and multicultural environments.
  • Experience using NetSuite, Coupa, Sharepoint, Workday and Concur preferred.
