HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE
Deliver in-scope Consulting Services engagements for Netbackup/Flex appliances, including but not limited to deployments, upgrades, configurations, assessments, health checks, Catalog migrations.
Interact with customers, partners, internal team and third-party vendors to understand and satisfy customer requirements.
Develop and manage client relationships, ensuring ongoing client satisfaction and quality assurance on delivery of projects.
Provide regular updates to technical delivery leaders and escalate out-of-scope requests or issues in a timely manner.
Collaborate with other team members, program/project managers, and technical teams to deliver engagements and/or escalate/resolve issues.
Meet or exceed performance metrics, such as timely completion of assignments, utilization, billable hours, and customer satisfaction.
Acts as a technical trusted advisor to all Customers by successfully implementing and troubleshooting technical issues during engagements.
Possess active listening skills to understanding the client’s environment, maintain detailed documentation on client interactions and customer meetings,
Troubleshoot, and collect evidence (logs), conduct research to find a solution, recreate the problem in a lab environment, provide a solution or engage appropriate resources to get the project/case moving towards resolution.
Prioritize and multitask across assigned projects within agreed timelines.
Maintain documentation. Create knowledge articles for any new findings and wherever possible.

Experience of working on NetBackup Appliances/Flex/ Access Appliance.
Good technical Understanding of NetBackup and/or Data Protect
Experience of working on Disaster Recovery situations.
Experience on Storage Technologies - Tape Library/VTL and Disk Based Methodologies ( DataDomain , StoreOnce , MSDP etc )
Overall Unix/Linux/Windows system experience.
Knowledge on Cloud Buckets, access permissions, tokens (aws or Azure).
Understanding of Network Data Management Protocol and KMS.
Some scripting and development background (Perl, DOS batch scripting etc. VBScript, Java/C++ a plus).
Database administration experience a plus (Oracle or SQL preferred).
Project management understanding
Docker-container, Kubernetes knowledge.
Basic knowledge of LDAP.
Experience on working in a live production environment or datacenter with heterogeneous IT infrastructure.
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with Netbackup, solution implementation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis. In-depth specialization with Netbackup

In-Office Expectations
Cohesity employees who are within a reasonable commute (e.g. within a forty-five (45) minute average travel time) work out of our core offices 2-3 days a week of their choosing.
