As a part of Cohesity's Worldwide Channel Team, this role will be responsible for partner operations of the Cohesity Partner Programs that support Cohesity's partner ecosystem and partner strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for partner operations of the partner program, process improvement initiatives, documentation and scaling the partner infrastructure globally. This includes all aspects of the program, from contracting/onboarding to compliance measurements, unique partner data structure, benefits management, reporting, data analytics, process and workflows, and the development of all systems requirements to support a diverse partner ecosystem.


The ideal candidate for this role thrives in a fast-paced environment, pays close attention to detail, and welcomes the chance to create a difference in building, implementing, and leading next-generation partner programs. The position requires a strong background in the channel, an understanding of the various partner routes to market, supporting partner programs and a history of building and maintaining a partner infrastructure. In addition, it requires strong collaboration and communication skills, project management, financial modeling, and good business insight while working with other partner teams across the company and Geos.


HOW YOU’LL SPEND YOUR TIME HERE:

  • Develop operational strategies supporting the partner program to enable our partners to build their business with Cohesity, increase partner seller adoption, drive revenue, and simplify the partner experience.
  • Program benefit management providing operational support including benefit requirement tracking, reporting, maintaining, payout and working with finance for financial benefit modeling.
  • Program requirement and compliance management providing reporting and data analysis
  • Project management to support program initiatives, including drafting and maintaining operational and system business requirements. This is done to consistently optimize and integrate numerous internal systems of record. This results in delivering a source of truth for partner business management and growth.
  • Collaborate with program managers and finance regarding financial programs benefits, including MDF, back-end rebates, and other channel investments. You will be responsible for developing processes that ensure payouts stay in sync with overall program guidance.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor representing the partner organization both internally and to the partner community. Sustain alignment across internal stakeholders as required to grow and scale the partner organization.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to project manage and operationalize new programs and partner initiatives. This includes the development of dashboards, master detailed reporting, QBR/MBR data and driving reviews with key business partners.
  • Liaise with the appropriate teams to develop robust, end-to-end partner operations processes and systems. This includes but is not limited to partner applications and contracts, opportunity registration, demo gear, lead management process, and program support. Additionally, vendor management for outsource resources and tools needed to support partner program.
  • Measure, analyze, and report on the efficiency of the Worldwide partner program activities. This includes partner recruitment, partner sales and technical certifications, and program benefits (MDF, Rebates, etc.) ROI.


WE’D LOVE TO TALK TO YOU IF YOU HAVE MANY OF THE FOLLOWING:

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in partner program operational management is required. Candidates with a self-starter get the job done mentality, problem solving skills, strong reporting and data analysis skills to support programs and partner programs benefit and requirement management in public companies are preferred.
  • The candidate must have experience in constructing infrastructures to manage partner programs in high-growth or global environments.
  • The candidate must have experience in implementing global programs that are flexible enough to meet local requirements but are also subject to global controls.
  • The candidate should be proficient in automating program administration using SaaS tools like Salesforce, Tableau, Excel, payment management systems such as Xtreme, NetSuite, Coupa, partner business planning tools, partner portals.
  • The candidate should have an understanding of the financial and regulatory rules governing rebate programs, discounts, MDF, and deal registration.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills are crucial. The candidate must be able to work with, influence, and manage cross-functional teams and leadership.
  • The candidate must thrive in a rapid-paced and dynamic business environment.
  • The candidate must be willing to manage aspects of programs manually, as needed.
  • A track record of driving business insights, actions, and accountability across organizations is required.
  • A BA/BS degree in Finance, Economics, Marketing, or Business is preferred.
