In Horizontal Services, we provide horizontal support to parts of the Retail Bank organization. With each day, we approach foundational capabilities with horizontal strategies to optimize how we work in a well-managed and risk focused way, for both ourselves and our customers.

As a Process Manager within the Bank Ops, Branch, and Cafe Access Team (BOBCAT), your focus is to provide high-quality, well-managed user access support to frontline Branch & Cafe workers, while also ensuring we maintain a strong risk posture to minimize our overall risk footprint.

A common day in this role will include working closely with our Recruiting and Learning teams to process access changes for new hires, transfers, promotions, or terminations, monitoring our ServiceNow queue for access incidents, and driving change to ensure risks are mitigated and access is well-controlled. Our support is critical in enabling our Branch & Cafe partners to best support Capital One’s customers.

Location: This role is hybrid, where you will be expected to spend about half of your working time in office and half working virtually.

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage access changes for Branch & Cafe new hires, transfers, promotions, and terminations, engaging with key partners to ensure a seamless process

  • Establish and maintain formal process documentation

  • Engage and collaborate with partner teams to best support the access needs of our frontline workers, specifically Cafe Ambassadors

  • Perform ongoing reviews to ensure access is well-managed

  • Manage access profiles for our Cafe ambassadors and Cafe Operations support teams

  • Partner with upstream and downstream stakeholders and other partners to support intent changes and make adjustments timely and in a well-managed way

  • Foster a culture of openness, collaboration and continuous improvement

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent certification

  • At least 1 year of experience using Microsoft Office or G-Suite

  • At least 1 year of experience in Process Management, Relationship Management or Risk Management

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or military experience

  • BPM, Lean, Agile, or Six Sigma certification

  • 1+ year of experience in Access Management
