As a Senior Associate of Process Management in the Enterprise Platform Technology organization at Capital One, you will identify and execute on high-priority knowledge management-related priorities for the developer community with a focus on increasing clarity, efficiency, and standardization. As a member of the Knowledge Enablement team, you will work with smart and passionate people in change management, engineering, product management, and design to deliver results that have a direct impact on the company’s technology transformation and developer experience. You will take on important and exciting responsibilities from day one, working frequently with cross-collaborative teams to tackle complicated challenges, identifying and delivering effective solutions that are frictionless for users.

Candidates for this role will have demonstrated that they can improve business-process and/or knowledge management projects in the past, resulting in time and resource savings for the company. This individual must be able to effectively communicate with, influence, and coach partners across the company. Strong analytical skills, excellent interpersonal and written communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to a dynamic agile environment are essential to succeeding in this role. You will identify and help implement processes that make it easier for our Tech community to create and leverage the knowledge they need to effectively perform their role(s). You will educate, train, and incentivize stakeholders to leverage self-service mechanisms to contribute knowledge back to the broader community.

Responsibilities:

  • Decompose technical-topics and vernacular into simple-to-use, easy-to-understand language for partners and customers

  • Identify and help implement process and operating model improvements that make it easier for our Tech community to contribute, find, or leverage knowledge that’s needed to their jobs effectively

  • Create and facilitate training workshops and artifacts that support self-service objectives

  • Craft and deliver compelling narratives to influence action on improvement-related opportunities through a variety of verbal and written formats

  • Develop a deep understanding of the strategic intent of the work, effectively identifying opportunities, mitigating risks, and resolving challenges across teams

  • Leverage problem solving and influencing skills to ensure project plans deliver on intent and within stated timelines

  • Build relationships and collaborate cross-functionally with partners and senior leaders

  • Report on the effectiveness of results delivered and develop insights from metrics

  • Lean in to get work done in support of broader team objectives, even if that work is outside of core delivery responsibilities

  • Work accurately and often autonomously in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and changeable priorities

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • At least 3 years of Process or Project management experience

  • At least 1 years of experience in knowledge management, technical writing, content strategy, or content creation for technical audiences

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of Process or Project management experience

  • 1+ years of experience with Git, GitHub, Markdown, or HTML

  • Strategy, Change Management, Process Improvement, Communications, or Performance Measurement certification
