Job Title: Product Solutions Manager

Job Purpose

We are looking for an ambitious and experienced Sales Engineer passionate about working on 10X products that clients love. As a Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for the following across all of Baton’s Cash & Collateral Management products: The ability to demo the best versions of the production platforms, at short notice, with data that is relevant to the opportunity at hand, likely changing from one demo to the next, includes generating synthetic data Keeping the data current to ensure artifacts do not expire every day & the environments are current and ready to demo Show key processes being performed during the demo, including having new data being consumed into/exported from the platforms to allow for the observation of state changes Ensure that documentation is current for the data catalog, APIs, integration gateways, etc. Explain API and Protocols for various modules like data ingestion, APIs, analytics, and integration to gateways Being able to tweak the platform and/or design/build figma screens at short notice to represent functionality that is adjacent to the existing core product, but of key interest to clients Building and maintaining datasets/models that can be used to articulate the key benefits that we sell to our prospective clients Ensuring that all new product features and functions are demonstrable and are well understood by the sales and client success teams Being a fast-track and accurate conduit between the client-facing teams (Sales, Client Success) and delivery teams (Product, Technology, and Operations) Ability to engage with onshore, India-based employees of our target market to support the broader sales effort and to garner direct client/market feedback regarding business and functional priorities and requirements as part of the product roadmap prioritisation process.

Education

Post Graduate or Graduate degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent is preferred.

  • An understanding of key market processes across Collateral Management, Cash and Security
  • Good English language and presentation skills (speaking and listening), including product positioning and sales support/pre-sales.
  • Confidence, a willingness to challenge the status quo and to lead people along a journey Data management and data modelling skills, e.g., building, and maintaining sample transaction data
  • Data presentation skills, including potential presentation of time series data through graphical and tabular means
  • The ability to speak the language of the customer and of our product/engineering teams
  • The ability to design and build/manage the build of Figma screens and potentially client-facing calculators and models.

Qualifications, Experience, Skills

At least 5-10 years of experience in techno-commercial roles with a proven record of operating at the intersection of product and experience in the capital market in post-trade or fintech technology & sales with a significant business impact.
