We are seeking a highly skilled and proactive Information Technology Support Engineer to join our growing company. As key member of our internal IT team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our IT infrastructure and supporting our staff to ensure their technology needs are met. This is an on-site role where you will independently manage projects while adhering to industry best practices. Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills are essential.

This position involves systems administration and helpdesk responsibilities, including end-user laptop support, SaaS/IaaS management, server administration, and more. You will have:

  • 4+ years of experience in IT technical support and administration for Windows and Mac.
  • Strong experience in administration and troubleshooting IT servers, applications, and services.
  • Expertise in software and hardware installation and configuration.
  • Experience with Administration of Microsoft 365.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts, including administration of routers, switches, firewalls, TCP/IP, DNS, and VPNs.
  • Familiarity with IT security best practices.
  • Experience using a ticketing system (e.g., Jira, ServiceNow, Zendesk) for incident management.
  • Hands-on experience with Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) solutions (e.g., CrowdStrike, SentinelOne).
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities, particularly in translating technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds as part of regular job duties.

Good for you to have:

  • Strong network administration skills.
  • Proficiency with Intune and JAMF.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Proxmox).
  • Knowledge of compliance standards (e.g., NIST, SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR, PCI-DSS).
  • Experience managing IAAS cloud administration (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Familiarity with Linux is a plus.
  • IT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide exceptional hands-on and remote technical support for all employees, with a focus on US-based users.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, system configurations, and user account management.
  • Assist in triage and resolving system or network outages.
  • Administer and maintain Intune and JAMF for deployment and management of laptops.
  • Support and maintain corporate network infrastructure.
  • Track and manage IT assets using asset management tools.
  • Recommend and implement configuration changes to improve efficiency and security.
  • Install, configure, and update software across Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Diagnose and resolve networking issues, including LAN, WAN, and wireless connectivity.
  • Document and maintain system configurations, procedures, and user guides.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to roll out new technology solutions and optimize system performance.
  • Prioritize and manage IT support tickets, ensuring timely resolution and escalation when necessary.
  • Assist in compliance and security initiatives, ensuring adherence to relevant frameworks and regulations.

Compensation: Up to $110,000 base salary + annual bonus + stock + benefits
